She was a amazing person. Even tho she was surrounded by cruelty and hate she still believed that there was still good people. That is something we should never forget.

Anne would not have had hair while wearing that prison uniform. But this is an amazing piece of work, and I 100% agree that Anne should stand for all children murdered in all Holocausts, not just Jews and not just this one.Β

Her father had the chance to take her to safety but he decided to stay and trade with the Germans. His greed killed his daughter. That's the saddest story for me. Poor girl

Nice picture, but I think when she was at theΒ Bergen-Belsen concentration camp, all of theΒ hair from her head was shaved off.

I know, but it would be more historically accurate if her head was shaven. Don't get me wrong I like the pic but I am a history major.

well, historically correct, jesus was not crusified on the cross, but most likely was lynched with the rope, yet jesus is on the cross......
this pic is a symbol somewhat similar to crucifixion. she died, so the story could have been told.

What is your source tat says Jesus was not crucified? The Roman historian Tacitus wrote that Jesus was crucified on behalf of Pontius Pilate.

lol i do not want to go into jesus debate. my depiction of anne frank is not historically correct.
my guess is that historian tacitus can not be trusted either.
do you remember what happened in Rome 100 years ago? If you can not recall it, then how can we have a debate of what supposedly happened 2000 years ago? If I told you a story. Then you tell that story to someone else. That someon else tells a story to someone else, so on... The last person will have an absolutely incorrect, distorted version of the first story. This is the fact, there is not a single document remains from exact date of jesus's crucifiction. All the document they provide are heresay.

I happen to be a history major and sometimes history is what is written. What you say sounds silly. What you are saying sounds something like how do I know if there was a George Washington? Evidence my friend. A story may not always be true, but the story may have some important morals. Why not trust Tacitus? I'd have to see evidence which suggests he has lied. As far as I know, there is no evidence which suggests that Tacitus lied about Jesus. You should also look up Josephus. You sound like an atheist.

You know what is funny? Some atheists go around saying that atheism is the same thing as Buddhism since they don't really have a god. Ironically though, Buddhists do believe in other spirits and entities and the crazy thing is atheists don't believe in any entities unless they can be "scientifically proven". Good day to you.

Your drawing is tragic and haunting at the same time, I can definitely feel the suffering that Anne had to gone through as a Jew during the WW2. I have read and watch the story of Anne Frank, her life story was so heart wrenching.Β
Rest in peace for Anne Frank and the other holocaust victims

the movie anne frank: the whole story gives you a good insight on their concentration lives, but I love your drawing of her. she looks absolutely miserable with only having Margot and being tragically torn from her dad and Peter. This makes me cry seeing her that way
