I have no idea why some people keep saying that Ophanimon Falldown mode is a Dark version of Ophanimon.
Cause that is more towards Lilithmon, Ophanimon Falldown mode is more of the "Angry" version or Hulk Up version of Ophanimon.Β
The one that allows Anger to control her actions.Β

There is God's Love (Ophanimon) and there is God's Wrath (Falldown Mode). Right?

From what I gather .... no the events of adventure 01 and 02 were reset... that's why the mons don't remember anything... even vamdemon (myotismon) is probably back too.

Some possible spoilers of part 5 of Digimon Adventure Tri, titled Symbiosis have appeared. It is said that they were released by the same person who leaked the information of who would be on the poster before it was released. It may or may not be true.
- The movie will be out in June 2017.
- The cause of the evolution of the darkness of Ophanimon is related to the mega level of Meicoomon. She is the evolved form of infection that will also reach humans. This will cause Kari and Meiko to be infected by the virus, resulting in the evolution.

I don't know where did you get the information from? But the confirming date haven't been revealed from what the anime company agree on. And also Tailmon/ Gatomon two mega form, it possible, but depending on Toei Animation to know which its suitable to Kari. And also don't let the spoiler theory take place, we're not sure what happen next after Meicoomon ultimate-level in Digimon Tri 4 Loss. And also are you sure it is Cody or someone else to beΒ confirm? But a good theory, from my concern.

Until officially confirmed or denied all the spoilers in episode 5 of Digimon Tri are only BOATS and as such we must have a certain mistrust about them because we still have no way to confirm their veracity or not for example the chosen children of Digimon 02 if so far none of them appeared and if the Digimon Kaiser / Ken Ichijouji was only a disguise used all this time by " Dark Gennai " then it is premature to claim that only a single of the chosen children of Digimon 02 in the case Cody will appear "infected" or that other chosen children should also be infected less Taichi and Koshiro and Meicoomon's Mega Level is still a mystery. But remember Hackmon said to Daigo one of the originalΒ DigiDestineds who own Baihumon which is a good partner to him, I like that theory when you said. But remember it something to do with Libra, one of the 12th Zodiac from what Homeostasis said to him. Libra is something to Meicoomon that I'd found out it something to do with The Claw. I'm not sure that "Dark Gennai" is in fact the true Gennai of Digimon Adventures. Gennai wanting to destroy the chosen children is almost the same thing that Master Yoda of Star Wars fall to the Dark Side of Force to ally Darth Vader and the Emperor and attempt to kill Luke Skywalker in addition to destroying all Rebel Alliance. I think "Dark Gennai" may be one of Gennai's virtual clones that was corrupted by the Darkness allied to Yggdrasil developed intelligence and a very evil personality and destroyed the true Gennai and all other virtual clones of this.Dark Gennai wanted to destroy the chosen children and for that commanding Mugendramon and MetalSeadramon was disconcerting. He was according to the mythology of the Digimon videogames a clone of Ryo Akiyama the Lenderary Tamer created in the future with Ryo's DNA added to the DNA Digimon to help the chosen children.He was the Mentor, Master, Guide, Guardian and Sage who was always around to help the chosen children in difficult times. I like the idea when Dagio will go to the Digital World and reunited with Baihumon one of the Four Sovereigns, but three others are still the mystery lie if you watch carefully and see three unknown child, one of them with glasses who almost Mei's mother or just theory from what I'd look at it. But other two are still a mystery, knowing they were chosen so that Sovereigns was born. Also Himekawa wanted to reunited with her missing partner Tapirmon from its sacrifice, just like TK/ Takeru and Ken that those two knows their feeling about losing their partner and later reborn, but Himekawa didn't. So may that those two can talk to her what it's like to lose someone is very important in the Digital World from my theory excusive. Also that the idea you said about Master Yoda talk to his last student Luke about his father Anakin/ Darth Vader who fall to the Dark Side in Star wars when Sidious bestow him a new name and new face. It's possible that Gennai did a dark counterpart which is a good strong theory, or a Digimon in disguise to confuse the DigiDestineds/ Chosen Children and also Ryo as Gennai, it's not 100% confirm, it's a just theory depending on Toei Animation confirm that Ryo is Gennai, well from his face and his eyes no doubt - - but Ryo went to the Digital World after Tai and the others in 31st December 1999, before 02 season and the Tamers.
Also Megadramon become Huanglongmon, hmm, good theory but it said say that Huanglongmon is made from four Sovereigns, but Cyberdramon become leader of the Sovereign or something from my concern but Megadramon become Huanglongmon would be an excellent choice since Daigo's partner LoaderLeomon become one of the Four Sovereigns, so um . . . will see what happen in last Tri after Tri 5.
Yes, I know that Libra is something to do with balance, but Meicoomon was infected or controlling by 'Dark Gennai', which he isn't or is he that Meicoomon have disturb the balance of light and dark that cause chaos that surrounding in the Digital World, but Libra is mainly the antagonist in Digimon Tri, that could somehow mastermind on Meicoomon. SO yeah, we'll wait in Digimon Tri 5 and yet I was so surprised to see Ophanimon Falldown Mode which it 's happen to be her appearance not in all series.

The funniest thing is...a lot of people say its Meicrackmon Vicious Mode Xros'd with Vikemon, but it actually just looks like...The Virus twisted that poor fox, as it became something...that looks metallic and ridden with corruption, wearing the fur like a skin or a coat, but Ophanimon Falldown Mode, that cannot be a good sign.

I can't beileve that Kari 's Gatomon is now become Ophanimon Falldown Mode and I'd have to say that this is first time to see Ophanimon Falldown Mode was never seen in any Digimon series, so this could be the first time to see her in evil action. Which mean something happen to Kari in the Digital World. I hope her brother or TK can save her. And also Meicoomon's mega form or should I say Libra known as the Claws one of the 12th Zodiac. I don't know what it Meicoomon's mega form name, but I got theory it's something to do one of the 12th Zodiac name that stand out the name The Claw.

It is a great theory, I found from the website that Libra is something to do with balance, but also something to do with 12th Zodiac from what Hackmon said to him about Libra which everyone know is Meicoomon must something to do with Libra, the balance scale and also the Claws.
