Man, you can mimic their style perfectly. Except the offmodel moments. So you mimic their style better than some of the animators (Seriously this show has a lot of offmodel moments...)

Yeah, when done with purpose. The characters relative size to each other is so inconsistent, and proportions get screwed up randomly. I love SU and I love the art style, but animating from story-boards instead of scripts is just... not good.

I think the problem is that sotryboarder don't comunicate with eachothers

Guys, it doesn't matter whether the modeling is consistent or not, it's something that they do on purpose because the storyboarders and animators within SU are encouraged to invoke their own unique styles into the show. And they do so seamlessly, without the characters ever looking too drastically different from one episode or another. The only example I can think of where this DIDN'T work was Peridot's smaller, more "chibi-like" size in the Navy episode, but that's the only time where the off-modeling bugged me. It's a different way of animating a show, for sure, but that doesn't make it "bad". It's a nice way to show the individualism of the storyboarders, and since SU as a show is all about individualism, it makes total sense that they would do this.
