Been a while since i uploaded anything, haven't had time to draw and there haven't been any new monster hunter monsters to make posters of.
So yeah not my best work but at least im regularly uploading and showing im still alive Xp

on to the pitch!

Proffesor E.Gadd has converted a question block into a pocket sized device that can capture any non human creature in the mushroom kingdom!
Mario decides to end Bowser's reighn once and for all by using one of these doohicky's on him.

But once Bowser was out of the picture Mario and friends realize their lives are pretty boring without the Koopa king.
Daisy comes up with the idea to capture and train the creatures that inhabit their world so they would stop doing bad things.
Wario and Waluigi overhear the conversation and bring their own little twist to the idea, basically do the exact opposite.
So Wario and Waluigi steal some of the capture devices and set their plan in motion and after some time challenge mario and luigi to a match with their trained creatures.

After the match they all decided they actually had fun with this and thus pocket monster battles became a regular thing in their world.

Wario and Waluigi use a chain chomp and bob-omb because i thought they would be fitting to them
I used a yoshi for mario because its the most iconic creature to associate with him.
for luigi i used a boo because i thought it be funny if he was scared of his own creature.

peach and daisy are just cheering for mario and luigi
E.Gadd is playing the referee.
didn't use any pokémon or pokeballs on purpose for reasons i don't feel like explaining.

The map is a 3d version of the festival plaza in chrono trigger. you can see the time portal in the distance!
