Technically it was Susie who turned evil. You see, Susie was jealous of Allison Pendle, and felt betrayed by Joey Drew. So when she died (God knows what of) her restless spirit was reborn from the ink as a twisted demented version of Alice, twice actually, the first time she was an ink blob (not unlike the searchers)
