Description I just felt like drawing my two dogs together, because I love them a ton.

-The one on the left is Sadie, she was a yellow lab, and she lived to 6. I had her from when I was 6 to when I was 12. She was normal weight until the last couple years, and then she got kind of fat.Β She died of cancer, and I miss her a lot. I cried making this... >_> Anyway I've drawn her with a halo since I was 12 so I thought it would be appropriate to keep it. She had these weird birthmarks on her tongue, and also a red heart-shaped tag that said "They love me," which I forgot about until I drew this. I'm sure many of you have lost a pet as well, and I'm sorry about that in advance.

-The one on the right is Abbie, she's a golden retriever, and very fortunately she's still alive. She has hip dysplasia and a benign tumor, but she's fine--just getting old; she has gray hairs around her face now. I've had her since I was 13, and she's 8 years old. It's really weird to think she's older than Sadie was, because in my mind Sadie was the mom dog and and Abbie is the baby. Anyone who meets her instantly loves her, and she has a job as a therapy dog at an eating disorder clinic. She wears Sadie's old collar, so they have the same collar here. I didn't draw it very well, but Abbie has a lot of flab too--and somehow I didn't draw her as fluffy as she really is.

Hopefully within a year, I'll be able to buy a corgi (that's the plan), and it will be added to the list ^^' But until then, I just wanted to draw these two. They were never alive at the same time but it's nice to imagine them knowing each other. I like cats too of course, but especially because I'm allergic to cats, I'm a big dog person. I never want to not have a dog.

Failure is 90% of practice, I think. Here's my advice: any time you get discouraged about something you think failed, use that emotion to your advantage and tell yourself that you're going to succeed in the future that much more. Let failure be something that inspires you to keep trying and practicing--there's a lot more future for you than you might think, and a lot of time to learn and get better. Failure and success are relative, but if you can try to think in the moment, then you can be proud of what you've done and what you will be able to accomplish in the future--all because of the inevitable failures--which is just what it is to be an artist, you know?

They look adorable! This is pretty touching, hit me right in the feels pretty hard...I actually teared up a bit after seeing this...It reminded me about my cat Shadow, she was 16 when she passed away due to a blood clot that pretty much paralized her the night before we took her to the vet. This happened in September 2014, I was 17 and all this happened the day before school started up.

Yeah, I can relate. I had a golden retriever named Chelsea who lived to be 13 years old, and she was the sweetest dog I knew. My current dog, Spot, is almost 8 years old and a dachshund/maltese mix. He's a cutie, but sometimes I swear he thinks he's a cat...

Very cute <33 Im sorry for your loss. My grandma lost her Cocker Spaniel, Trixie, to Cancer as well. But Im very happy you have Abbie ^^ Dogs are always the best of company. I couldnt imagine my life without out Pitbull, Lady Cow.
We have 3 doggos in my family but when I move out on my own Id like to get a Great Dane and a Corgi as well.

Aww, that's really sweet, and I'm sorry for you're loss hun...I (my mom, sister and I) had a black lab named max, he's 11, and has been part of the family since my little sister was 1, but unfortunately where we live we can't have big dogs, so he lives with my disabled uncle now...we miss him a lot but he seems to be doing okay living with my uncle, he helps him around the house and such
