Watercolor 2016, Puerta del Sol, Madrid.When I visited Madrid it was in late february and it was rather cold. Even if the sun didn't light up the square the evening lights at Puerta del Sol was amazing. It was really crowded too and I guess that this is one of the places in the world which is visited by people all year around, even when the weather doesn't really allow it
I just finished this yesterday. I hope you like it!

Woah! I love this artwork. I really like this kind of pictures- cities at night lit up by street lights. I'll probably tell the same as everybody, but the way of showing this place, this fun with colours, this athmosphere. Also these details. It's really nice, when an artist add some words on the bilboards, some signs, some people's gestures. It. Is. Just. Perfect. You did the great job here. Keep up the good work ^^

Yes, for the sky I wanted some structure in order to show the weather (it wasn't a clear night which I hope shows) and for nighttime paintings I want to create a feeling of "flows of lights" that bleed into each other. I think that is what is so nice with painting nighttime streets and facades. Again, thanks and I really appreciate your support! Take care!
