When he was an Elite, he met Red and Purple from training. The two took a liking to his skills for locations for missions. After a few missions he then met Lilli, the one who is called Glitch for her glitching problems. He helped her out by implanting a Firewall chip in her back. In training, a few Irken Elites were teasing her more and one of them broke the Firewall Chip. Lilli then snapped and killed one of them, resulting her as a killer. But Azu covered her up with self defense and the bullies having a weapon that they 'accidentally' killed their friend. The two moved on and Lilli was introduced to Red and Purple. Unfortunately, Purple and Red had some difficult times to try tricking her, but she saw right through them most of the time. Until the previous Tallests announced Red and Purple, the other one too announced Azu and Lilli as their own Tallest role due to their results of their skills. The four now must work together and give informations to each other of what has been going on. When Lilli adopted another alien species, this made him aware of the two actually not liking the idea of adopting a different species. She also had her own ambassador that is Irken Elite who is also a Weapons Class Irken. He wanted to Azu has been holding back his feelings towards Lilli since they were together. That's when a year after Lilli came back with a discussion of not destroying a planet she saw. Both Red and Purple thought it was nothing but a dissapointing move to try to persuade them not to. Lilli looked back at Azu and all he could do was look away. Then months passed, he began to feel regret for not replying to her. That's when he decided to confess to her of his choices he wanted to make with her and his feelings towards her. Suddenly he received word from Red and Purple of Lilli. He went to them and saw Lilli saying that she changed her mind to destroying the planet she was on. What terrified him was that there was a shadow figure standing behind her. Before he was going to say something, it stabbed her and then decapitated her. Silence filled the room, and Azu decided to fly over to the planet she was on, and found her blood and her cape on the floor. He wished it was all a nightmare, but it was reality. He formed his own crew along with Red and Purple to destroy the planet. What they saw was shocking to their image. The Irkens Lilli owned were ranting for freedom and isolation. Both sides fought with bloodshed, and the battle ended with a powerful laser beam shot at the planet, and it was now in pieces. Red and Purple cheered that they won, but Azu wasn't taking anymore of their crap. He called his crew back and left the two cheering on. He cut out all commumications from Red and Purple due to their slacking inactivity. He was strict on rules and he made sure not an outsider will find his base. Isolated away from the other two, he still has access back to his home planet. While he decodes more communication, a certain Irken, who he has never seen or heard before, calls him on one of the contacts that he used to use before.
