I dont CG with photo shop or adobe so I cant help you out on the technical aspects. Try doing cell shading, I think that might help you get a handle on more defonite shapes. Learn about how light hits stuff and reflective light. Beyond that just play around as much as you can with the program you use, familiarize your self with the tools that can help you CG.

LoL Poor thing! I like how Pearl was drawn, definitely ^.^ Your CGing is pretty good so far... How do you shade your stuff? Dodge and burn? Or do you just go over it with a white air brush tool? There are different techniques you can use depending on the way you want the color to come out.
I'm no expert on CGing myself, though... ^^;

Why is my CG'ing so shit ?. I cant think of any other way to do it but it looks like a five year olds crayon frenzy ( crap and basic ). There are some fantastic cg'ers on here. Help a poor PSP idiot please.... The snoke did turn out well though.
