This is the September challenge for Beyond Pixels! The best guild on neopets ^_^The theme was "Breaking Away." I came up with a lot of ideas but this one turned out nicest, I think.
This looks so much better in real life. ;~; My scanner made it extremely bright.
Anyway..about the picture.
It's a mermaid transforming into a human...or a human transforming into a mermaid. A scene like this happens in Walt Disney's Little Mermaid, I think?
The character isn't a fancharacter or anything, just a girl.
I don't really like those shell tops mermaids have, so I..gave her seaweed. xP

..I know! Maybe the mermaid is actually a human girl who used magic (or a potion, I don't know)! She wanted to see (and try to woo) a merman she fell in love with, but she can't seem to get him to notice! Worst of all, the effects are starting to wear off, and she's too far away from the shore!

haha, I love the Little Mermaid.. Thats like my favorite Disney movie.. But back to your picture! I love her expression. If she was originally a human or a mermaid I guess they would have the same reaction. Cute. XD
