Logan was awesome, and I was dying to make a fanart of the movie. But more than drawing wolverine I wanted to give a try to X-23 because I´ve never drawn her before and I think she was extremely cool and well portraited in the movie.Related content

Sure I´ve heard about it! although I´m not an avid fan of Ghost in the shell per se, I´m of Masamune Shirow artwork and his bad ass action women.

Yes, personally I´ve tried to like Ghost in the shell ( the animated version ) the couple of times I´ve seen it but it still doesn´t grab me all that much. It has some great scenes and animation tho. Maybe the manga is better?

Logan wasnt old enough in my opinion from the comic standards least looks, and x-23 wasnt a kid. But she was a teen, but this way if they do make others about the team from canada they could do so.

Oh ok, I tried to blend it with the vibrant colors you know? but I guess I couldn´t resist using the splatter brushes to recreate the blood pattern in logan´s clothes. A version of this image without blood could have worked too

From what I knew of her in the comic she is pretty much known as X-23 ( althought there are other X-23 weapons like Yuriko and the Wolverine´s evil clone ) I like "Laura" too, but I think X-23 it´s catchier, hehehe.

I feel there was a really cool chemistry bettwen Logan and Laura in the movie, specially when both were in berserk mode. I wanted to capture a moment where you can sence that she has her father´s support ( at least in battle) or for a brief moment. So glad you like every part of the process, I dedicate a good amount of time caring of line, characters and specially colors, I did my job well then! thanks a lot for your comment!

I feel happy everytime that someone says they like the colors because that´s my favourite part of the process and the one I make more trail and error tests to see what fits in better, thanks and glad you liked it!

I´m glad you like the use of color, I made a ton of different color tests to see if a more brownie or greenish palette would look better, but at the end it seems I always stick with reddish and yellow tones for backfround mood. it seems I found a great balance to mix a little bit of green and aquamarine tones in there, hehehe.
