Description originally assumed to be a female providing transport for her young, but a second theory has since been put forward. James thinks the smaller one is being eaten.

Yay or nay?

I defend the first. We saw geckos eating moths and bugs, and they acqiure an expression of pure concentration, and a lot of effort is required, whereas these two look quite relaxed. Blood is apparently visible, but they do have very delicate, translucent skin. (I held one once!) Do big geckos eat little geckos? Or do big geckos carry little geckos?

Anyway, I like the photo.
