...So yes I'm trying out a nuzlocke for the first time in my life....and it's pretty damn hard on me T^TFor those that don't know, a "nuzlocke'' is a special pokémon challenge you can do with a few rules to make it harder:
-Any pokémon that faints is considered dead and must either be released or boxed forever.
-The player may only catch the first Pokémon encountered in each area, and none else. If the first Pokémon encountered faints or flees, there are no second chances. If the first encounter in the area is a Double Battle in dark grass, the player may choose which of the two Pokémon they would like to catch. ( This is a great rule because it makes you catch pokémon you normally wouldn't use.)
-Nickname ALL your pokémon for a deeper bond.
Ect. Ect.
There are many rules like: not use a pokémon center or use potions, but these are the 3 rules I go by ;w; it's my first time after all!
I already lost Terra the Zigazagoon, Skippy the surskit, and Zephyr the Taillow TwT

So basically this is Rukako ( I named him after Rukako from the visual novel/anime "Steins Gate", Basically this character is extremely feminine but is a dude...so to poke fun at the whole Gardevoir thing since I had a male one ;w
, and I gotta say....he was tough to train but I appreciate him more and more every day!He almost died in a battle ;o; but he somehow had 1 HP left and killed that muthafuckahs and evolved into a gardevoir ;o;

Nevermind, I just restarted my HeartGold-game, so I'm in my own Nuzlocke Challenge right now XD I wonder how long my Geodude Atlas will last XD ("Would you kindly not use me in the Bellspout Tower? Thanks")
Btw, now that I'm shortly before my first gym battle and don't have much experience with Nuzlocke yet, I wanted to ask if you have certain rules concerning potions? I'm not sure if using potions would make the challenge too easy (or not using potions too difficult). I wanted to clear it up before I make a rule for myself and find out that it's ruining the experience

I see, so "Not Using Potions" is optional... well, I'll see how it goes using potions, if it becomes too easy, I'll ban them for me (expect the Elite 4, it's insane trying to beat them without XD). So far, things went really easy for me, so I was a bit concerned that using potions is breaking it XD
Yush ^^ I'll make sure to exectue the "No DOubles"-rule, I don't wanna face the E4 using only Rattatas and Pidgeys XD

I've never tried a nuzlocke, but if I do, it'd either be Pearl or Emerald because the newer games (Black/White & Black/White 2) are hard to me xD

PFFFT White and Black are easy compared to the older games...it has a shitload of trainers so leveling up is easy!

Welp, I always had trouble with the Lenora and her fucking Watchogs (OTL) so my Oshawott would already be evolved and high 20's along with my other ones, and none of them would listen to me ;w; Thats what made the -- beginning hard for me.
I personally thought Crystal was hard, but then again, I was little when I played that as my first Pokemon game, so whatever. I beat Heartgold, same game really. xD
