the name of the artwork really says it all. it has its own composition and texture plus it gives the feeling of enormity while at the same time simplicity. maybe i should keep it simple -- it's freaking awesome.

Another great poster from you, neo. This one also has a cool palette blended exceptionally well with all the different exploding shapes you've chosen. I especially like those little round jewel type thingies. They add to the richness and complexity of your image. Fave!

good abstract wallpaper. radial focal point and a complexity works well here.

I love what you are doing with textures. On top of the usual shinny, smooth, or metalic stuff you have worked in a kind of foggy glass texture to this image. It's pretty impressive to look at, that's for sure.

The render is nicely done, I would say a bit bulky for the size of the full image, as it take's up so much room and theres no room left for a backdrop or anything. The solid white parts of the render aint' too my tatse but there not too bad.

Good effort.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 2

neoweb In reply to FlippinPhil [2006-01-21 01:17:21 +0000 UTC]

p.s. the solid white parts aren't part of the render... they were added in photoshop

Totally agree with mettleworks! It's not only the coceptual thinking in blending these progs in such a way, but the neat quality of the end result. This is AWESOME!!!

Very inspiring art to experiment with new ideas!
