Description I don't know jack crap about computer arting at all. It's this alien, foreign place so far removed from what I've been doing for decades that the very thought is intimidating. I try to make it a habit of practicing at least once a week to hone whatever skills I possess to make my drawings legible on my computer screen, but even if I master the form, I don't think I'll ever fully grasp it.

Practice doodles. No layers, no final feel to it (I left the blue lines intact to indicate such; plus I kinda like it), no fancy tools, no nothing. This is just me and my tablet getting to know each other. Also an excuse to draw some characters for Dandy Robot and figure out color schemes. I wanted to add Marine's father for a trifecta of robots wearing 18th century hats/clothes to the mix to fill up that gaping white space next to the soldier bot, but alas, I didn't bother.

I'll tell you one thing right now that I wish someone told me when I was learning digital art; DO NOT use PS to line drawings, use Sai. It is so much better it's not even funny, not in the least because you can actually change lines once you've put them down so having to redraw because of a little mistake or a line leaning just a little too far or whatever becomes a thing of the past.

PS is better for colouring though. uvu
