My god. This is beautiful. Though the woman with the red bags may have been at the center of your composition, I see only the tall walls that stand proudly on both sides, and the light filled court yard, just a little way ahead, inside the gates. THe buildings...they tell a story, no?

This shot was more luck than skill. With very limited time I took the photo and hoped it would come out like I wanted it to and fortunately it did.
No special lenses, no funny post processing. My aperture was set to 3.5

What a great shot. I love the solidity of the buildings on either side, creating this huge canyon through which the woman walks. The red and gold tones are warm and rich. And how great is it that the woman has those equally balanced red bags. Great capture.

There is a lot of luck behind street photography, especially if you have limited time and in a place you've never been, but in a funny way it has become one of my favourite genres of photography.
