This portrait was done by commission as part of my fundraising for Padres Pedal the Cause. PPTC is a charity bike ride where all participating riders fundraise for the charity, and then do a big bike ride in November. PPTC donates 100% of the funds that are raised directly to 4 world class cancer research institutes in San Diego, CA. The company I work for also matches employee donations, and then in November also matches what I have raised in total. The commission was a $100 donation, which was matched, becoming $200, and then matched again for a total of $400 to local cancer research in 2017.
