This reminds me of a short story I read where the mermaid was dead on the shore and crab was eating her eye. It was interesting.

So sad. This is a very emotionally moving picture. The brightness of her hair seems to make her glow, and really helps her stand out from the rest of the picture.

This is so incredibly gorgeous and sad at the same time. The detail in the picture is amazing; the water is wonderfully done and the rocks look perfect. I love the clouds in the sky too, and the spray of the waves crashing against the shore looks really good.
She just seems as if she was in so much pain during her last few moments. Such sadness, such a desire to cling to life ... makes me wonder what killed her. ; ;
