How secure are they? I had a retainer made when I was younger. It was wonderfully effective, but it made me talk funny. I tried a pair of cheap caps, but I couldn't even close my jaw fully with them in.

theyre pretty secure. but i cant close my jaw completely ether with them on...Its probably just how my teeth fit together that makes them do that. but i dont really mind. and i can talk fine with these in too. oh and you cant eat with them on though.
