Story time!

It was the crack of dawn when the thumping of feet sounded on the porch of the small lake house. Vales had awoken to this sound as it was followed by a few hefty knocks on the door.
  "Vales?" A familiar voice rang "You up yet?"
The creamed colored gro yawned as she reached the door, cracking it open to see Alma waiting for her. She smiled at Vales as the opened wider and she was invited in. "Alma? Why are you here so early? Is something wrong?" Vales suddenly felt her chest lurch. "Do Guzma's parents wanna take him back?!" The tears started welling in her eyes as Alma chuckled.
"Child, calm down. Trust me no one will take him away from you but, I do have a question." The elder gro reached out with a folder. "The Nook has been overly busy lately and I have been asking around to see if anyone could help. Seeing what you and Guzma have had since you adopted him, I want to ask you if you'd like to add another to your family?" Alma smiled, watching Vales take the folder and open it. Inside the folder held various adoption forms Vales knew about from having to sign them before and records. "I feel Charroth would benefit being in a creative home like yours, he is quite the painter after all."
Vales, closed the folder and looked to Alma, an uncertain look in her eyes as she spoke " I'm not sure... I mean, Guzma and I wold need to at least talk about how things in the house would work with another wyngling around and we'd just need to think it over."
Alma nodded, putting a hand on Vales' shoulder. "It's ok hun. No worries and take your time. I'll leave the folder here for you." and with that Alma took her leave, closing the door behind her.
  Just then a voice pipped up as Guzma climbed the stairs. "Whats going on ma?"
Vales smiled and scooped him up, planting a kiss on his cheek and setting him back down "Lets talk it over breakfast."
  An hour later, Vales found herself walking with Guzma to the nook, filled out papers in hand as he bounced about. Fast forwarding to when they all met Guzma ran up to the green Wynling, who sat by a tan one that got up and left when he saw the gray Wyngro. "Yo, yo are green...Green... Gen...Genji. I'mma call you that!" Guzma exclaimed as he booped him. The new wyngling just huffed and stood up, slapping his hand away.
" Don't you ever lay a hand on me again." He grunted as he made his way towards Vales. Finally Charroth had a place, even if it wasn't the best. Together they proceeded to walk home, Vales giving the run down of the rules as they moved. As they approached the house Vales smiled, swiftly picking both of them up and spinning around giggling. Guzma was quick to nestle into her fur and laugh along as Genji seemed to push away. It wasn't till after she flopped in the thick grass and laid down, holding them both close to her did he finally snuggle in. He smiled for the first time in awhile then, knowing he had life better here. Still a ting of pain settled in his chest as he thought of his older brother being left at the nook.
      "Welcome home" Vales chimed.
