Here is my updated status on the latest costume i worked on. I wanted it to be a dark dragon of some sort, with glowing purple eyes.
The materials:
-Mask: Recycled paper bags, news print, water, gesso, flour water and toilet paper mixture, aluminum foil, paint, purple LED lights, tape, hot glue gun, black spray paint, Buckle and straps.
-Body armor: duct tape, recycled paper bags, cardboard boxes, Hot glue gun, gesso, black spray paint, LED lights, Buckles and straps.

To protect it all i used a super thick gloss glaze for the painted parts.

I think that's all. This costume is mostly paper. The paint was 2 dollars, the paper bags and cardboard were free, the led lights were about 4 dollars, flour is very cheap but already had some at home. News print was free. Hot glue sticks were about 10 dollars. This entire costume cost me less than 20 dollars.

Oh, and the sword i made is made from cardboard, Popsicle sticks, hot glue, gesso, news print, same black paint.
