Sunlight. It was blinding, especially to a tired pokemon. It wasn't a bad thing though, it felt warming against the skin. It had been so long though to Omin, to feel such a pleasure, although it had only been a few days, it felt like a light year to him.
“ Not much further now Mr chomps, its just past this tall tree”, smiled Strawberry who seemed to be lost and unsure about this so called 'tree'. There were more concerning matters at hand though, like the name Strawberry had taken upon herself to call Omin. She had asked of his name though, so of course if Omin wouldn't tell her she'd find something to call him. He just wished it had been something better, even trapinch would have satisfied.

It had been a good half hour since they left the castle. According to Strawberry, they were heading toward somewhere called Tao ranch were she needed help of some sort. That’s as much as Omin got a word of since she talks a lot faster than average speaking speed. Thankfully she doesn't walk as quick. He'd rather not waste energy on just trying to keep up with her, after all he knew a long exhausting day was ahead of him.

As they walked, the forest became more and more broken. Trees lay dead and downed, nothing but an eerie feel of death in the air. No doubt the work of that ice dragon. It was surprising that there were any trees left, since most of them were damaged not only by the dragon but the snow.
Snow? Omin looked down. There was none. The snow had vanished. Did that mean they did it? Was the ice dragon gone? Although he couldn't remember last night, the signs were there. Sorbet, that the village had called it, was no more. Omin didn't know how to take the news. He hadn't been around the guild long enough to know it personally, and with the resent attack it would be safe to say he was happy to be rid of it. It did attack and hurt Lilith, so why not. He knew everyone else would not share in his happiness though. Regardless, he gave a small smile.

Strawberry looked around. Was it this tree? No, maybe that one....or maybe.. she thought. She was hoping to see one of the ranch's apple trees, but with all this destruction, it was getting more difficult with every minute passing. Even so worrying was how was she going to replace all this. The apple trees will take years to grow, the crops all need replacing, then not to mention the cost of it all.
No that was not one thing to worry about, she knew someone who would deal with the money and she had the help from the rest of the ranch as well. That she was grateful for, and that finally the sun was making its appearance.

Looking up and the sky and taking in the warm, she noticed it. There hanging on a surviving tree was a single ripe apple. At that moment Strawberry gave a huge smile and dashed forward. Omin who was still tagging behind, had no choice but to follow. They ran through thick bushes and hopped over a few damaged trees, until an opening appeared.
The light hit their eyes strong as they followed through it. Blinking, trying to adjust, Omin noticed buildings. There was some sort of field in front and a stream running through the middle. Omin turned to Strawberry wondering where this place was. Although it was destroyed and ruined, she gave a smile to him and turned.
“We're here, I'm finally home”.
