St. John Allerdyce is a recurring member of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, enemies of the X-Men. His mutant power is pyrokinesis, meaning he can manipulate fire, but he can't create it. Because of this, he wears a gas tank on his back, which is hooked up to flamethrowers on his wrists. He has also battled the Avengers, and for a while even worked for the US Government.
