In an alternate universe, Gwen Stacy was bitten by a radioactive spider, not Peter Parker. Peter Parker was bullied and picked on, and he looked up to Spider-Gwen. Even though Gwen supported him and liked him, Peter wanted revenge. He created a formula that transformed him into a lizard-like creature.
