Gardener AU. I’m a big fan of characters disliking each other before eventually falling in love, which caused me to think how cute it would be if several of Bilbo and Thorin’s early interactions involve awkwardness and strange accidents ^_^. I think their first meeting involves Thorin going up to introduce himself, and Bilbo, carrying a large patio umbrella, turns around in surprise smacking Thorin in the head with the umbrella sending him sprawling.
