My college library had recently gotten some new graphic novels and I've been checking them out lately.One of them that I just finished reading is entitled "Anya's Ghost," written and illustrated by Vera Brosgol.
I absolutely LOVE this book!!!
So much so, I decided to draw some fan art of the main characters, Anya, and her ghost pal, Emily.
I have this book for two more weeks, so there's a good chance I'll read through it a second time.

Yeah, I know. IΒ just realizedΒ that it wasn't thatΒ equally matchedΒ of a battle,Β seeing how Lapis could overpower Katara. I try to do DB memes where I knowΒ the characters have equal sets of strengths and abilities. But sometimes when I get inspired to pair up my favorite characters, I forget about certain statistics and realize the characters I want to face off aren'tΒ entirelyΒ well matched for each other.

This book has the potential to be a stop-motion animation film!!!
It could be like Coraline, and that was a great movie!!
I want this book to be recognized, not because the fact its a graphic novel, but how great the story is!

I've always invisioned the film version being 2-D animated. I personally feel it would retain the book's atmosphere a lot more and its cartoonish art style. But a stop-motion version would be neat to see, too!!
I certainly hope this book earns more recognition because it definitely deserves it.
