Can I ask how you did it? Is there a crochet base underneath, and is the yarn loose ore attached somehow?

It was a little tricky at first. He is a basic black sphere, and the yarn started out loose, but there are hidden stitches everywhere holding it in place. That worked out a lot better than trying to glue it.
