Firstly, I really like the flower, it's very pretty. c: I like the way you snapped the picture for a kind of close-up birds-eye view type picture, and blurring the background (the floor) helped to bring out the flower. Very nice~!

This is a stunningly-taken photograph. Congrats, and kudos, to your girlfriend. The blur sharpens the color, and it IS a stunning orange, which contrasts nicely with the darkened background.
