Oh my goodness! You read my mind!! This totally goes along with the ideas in my head!
-Like they live in a desolate place where they hid from humans, but some of them gets fed up with the isolated lifestyle and takes a risk of living among humans.
-They do their best to live among the other race but some of them have a hard time adjusting, and just being accepted. Some of them can't resist the urge to fed, so the humans slowly become aware of their persence. They try to come up with a way to control the ne-co.
-I was gonna have my bby Ashton be a shifter and have trouble controlling his beast form, it's something he keeps hidden from everyone. He's afraid people would fear him and avoid him. Its the reason his parents abandon him.
-Some of them are torn about getting revenge on the humans, and overunning them altogether because of how they're been treated. Some of them do intentionally feed on humans to better understand their powers and get stronger in case a war is inevitable.
