Really had fun with this one! a little side project, just adore the creatures Aivomata makes

This mask belongs to a haroth, a hunter who takes pride in her honed senses. But she may have bitten of more than she could chew when she got into a ruff with another predatorial beast, a fairly large creature, and well armed. With the mane of a great lion, slick fur and narrowed serpent eyes. This creature was not messing around, and neither was our haroth. She was swift in battle, the air on her side, such a beautiful creature when she flew, but with such savage intents. The creature became infuriated and frustrated by this display, and she was torn from the sky. Her wing was to mangled to take flight, the creature had pinned her determined to prove himself as a more worthy hunter, a haroth would make a fine trophy. Oh but her panic was brief, as she was a clever haroth, wings or not she leapt back to her feat determined to rid of such an un-elegant creature. She manage to retake the advantage of height take foot atop a sheer slope of rocks, its jaws gaped at her and she leapt at the beast! the shear force of her blow broke the creatures jaw, but as she came down a massing stray blow came from the side, thick black claws cracking her mask nearly in two. And as it howled and thrash in agony, oh such a hideous sound, she became enraged at the creature for what it had done to her, and with blade in hand the haroth slit the creatures throat. silencing it for good. The haroth stood in hot rage, and scooped her mask from the dirt, bloody and mangled. How could such a creature take something so precious from her. she could not return to her kin with such a barren face...then a thought came to her. she could take a trophy of her own.

so this mask has been crafted out of the caress of the creature that she had slain. Our haroth is a skilled hunter, and could skin the beast with ease, taking the mane, horns, teeth and snapping from it the broken lower jaw of the beast. driftwood from a rocky lake shore being used to craft the base, held together with sinew from the beast. She may not be much of an artist, but has a keen sense, attempting to integrate both the elegance of a haroth, and the savagery of the hunt. little haroth feathers just to add a touch of herself.

EEEEEEhhh, don't know what else to add...might have missed something...HOPE NOT.... i love these beautiful creatures! good luck to everyone else entering! (biggest lie)
