Skelmis 3055 vs. Asp

When the hazel rook entered the arena he had to search for his opponent for a second until noticing the short creature in front of him, snarling viciously. Frankly, the first thing he felt was disappointment. Skelmis wanted to prove himself to the goddess Life and that did not include accidentally squashing your opponent when not looking where he put his clawed feet. Frustrated he watched the referee, preparing the start of the battle until he turned his gaze back on the small dove. Even though he wasn't expecting much, he was aware of the usually nasty tempers of these short Kukuris called minis and this one in particular seemed to be quite the bugger. Suspiciously he braced himself, though half-heartedly. The fight began.
It was diffiult following the small amber blur with one's eyes as it speeded off behind the shocked rook, hissing viciously in the process, and jumped to use the extra talons attached to the leather gloves on her hindlegs to create a deep gash in his flank. Skelmis barely had time to prepare for the next hit of the long-eared mini, giving her the opportunity to give him a few more or less deep scratches before he processed what exactly was happening. Pleasantly surprised and now determined to give her a fight he let her attack him again, now keen on not loosing track of Asp's small figure. This time Skelmis saw her attack coming, hurriedly ducking to the ground, an excited and eager expression on his face, ready to prove himself worthy.

Skelmis will probably be beat up by the tiny angery :'D
