Description Hey, this is my first finished project.
Rendered in Cycles with 3k samples. Took me about 6hours to render.
Criticism needed.

Looks good NervusTR, there are a few issues but for a first project this a great start.
Since you've asked for criticism here are a few points to consider:

1. It looks he tavern balcony has some particle issues, especially around the windows when you zoom in.
2. Seabirds would not be as silhouetted as they are depicted based on the angle of this scene in relation to the sun and also how close they are. It's also clear that the same silhouette is reused a couple of times so try putting them further into the background to make them harder to make out and using less of the same shapes or even editing them yourself to create more variety.
3. Shadowing around the dock crates and sign is good, consider that soft shadowing looks more realistic usually but hard shadows when used effectively can be more atmospheric depending on what you are trying to depict.
4. The plants ringing the tavern are not implemented well, they stand out as darker than the surrounding objects and are pixelated, you may have been better off not using them. This is most obvious around the wheel next to the tavern door and the benches.

Please remember that the intention here is not to degrade the work you have done, but to help improve via constructive criticism. Hope to see more soon.

So, apart from this being made in Blender, how'd you make this? Looks tres awesome, I've been wondering if one could do this in Blender alone. Also, it makes my Skyrim sense tingle^^

Excellent  ! Textures are well set, and i think i can't see any seams. Lights and particles look nice and the composition is overwhelmingly beautiful! Is it part of a videogame? What's your project about? You could use kickstarter to get a budget.

Wish to see more (:
