Description Wow, was this a nightmare in the waiting! I have been wanting to do and image like this since I first jumped into Photoshop, but just could never find the resources.
Today, everything just came together.

Now, unto just what the hell I did here:
I'm just blasphemously delicious! I love religious paintings. Call it a kink of mine. In every painting of either Jesus or Mary, they've always had their hands up in a benevolent posture and Jesus usually has a flaming heart thingie going on (You know, I was a Catholic for most of my youth and I NEVER understood what the hell that was all about!).

Technology is god. With it, we become gods by creating. That's just my way of thinking at least...

Blend them both together and we have a techno-goddess that we pray to and curse...especially when our programs shut down without warning. Or maybe our computers just want blood sacrifices...

Impressive, I like the work and almost even more the thoughts behind it. Man and technology has always fascinated me. And add to that religion and it becomes really interesting. Will we become gods for the machines and so on.

Sure can, because there are always people available with interesting inputs. Plato and Kant's stuff are mostly overused, at least IMO. Man vs machine still asks questions in need to be answered.

beautiful job! i downloaded those bone-wire-things and haven't had a chance to use them yet. i really like those ice blue eyes here, they're so small but totally dominate.

I had them for a few weeks before I got over this strange fear of using them. I originally downloaded them for my fiance to use, but I've been digging them (and using them) more than he has!
I agree! The eyes do dominate. It one of those things where you give it a shot--having no idea where it's going--and your own brain surprises you.

Thankies!
