European badger foraging in the forest near MuchΓ³w village (PogΓ³rze Kaczawskie). I made some closer shots too but they a to blurry to show. It was the first time I saw one in the flesh not in books or tv.Related content

Badgers can be quite angry, territorial and they have long claws and sharp teeth. Β

Of course you're right. They are carnivores after all. And unlike most of my local wild mammals who run whenever they see humans this one was extremely confident minding it's own bisness and not paying attention to us.

It was so endearing a creature. And from a far it looked like ghost just a ball of grey fluff moving through the grass.
