Character design concept for a gargoyle rp my friend and I started. This one's one of my characters, haha.

Played around with some new things today. I know I could have done more with it, and I know it's not the best. I was entertained while making this tho.

Here's her profile:

Character Name: Cicada (Given to her by villagers because of the sounds she prefers to make instead of talking sometimes.)
Gender: Female
Age: 36 (looks 18)
Appearance: A tan, humanoid gargoyle with large membranous wings and clawed hands and feet. Her horns are small, and there’s only one protruding outward from either side of her forehead.
Personality: Generally quiet, Cicada prefers to watch and observe before making any decisions. Not that she can’t make a quick decision if the situation calls for it, but she will still weigh her options first. She’s rather mature for her age, which is one of the reasons she was allowed to become a mentor of sorts as early as she was. Some mistake her silence for snobbery, which is the opposite of her kind and caring nature, but as such, she only has a few close clan mates with whom she openly converses, Anaconda being the closest. After the loss of her clan, she is more withdrawn and will typically only talk to Anaconda and no one else. As it is, they know each other well enough by this point that words are no longer needed to communicate when others are around.
Abilities: An able warrior, she has a certain grace to her movements, although she prefers defensive tactics to offensive ones. She’s very perceptive and able to maintain a clear head in a crisis, even after she is shaken by the loss of her clan.
Bio: Born into Clan Rusil, Cicada was always mature for her age and as such was a little estranged from those hatchlings she was closest to age-wise. It was lucky for her that a hatchling in the next batch would become her closest rookery sibling. Life was not always carefree after that though. As the adults began to fear a betrayal from their human protectors, so did Caida, though she did not voice her thoughts to any of the others of her age group or lower. She assumed that if the elders thought it was still safe enough to live in Rusil, then there could not be that much of a threat. How wrong she was.

Only Anaconda and herself escaped the massacre. Partly because of the sheer excruciating pain of the vent, and partly because of the pain of knowing she might have voiced her fears earlier and prevented this, Cicada retreated into herself, only now confiding in Anaconda. She’s more likely to second-guess every decision now, and she’s even less trusting than Con, but when it’s just the two of them, she becomes more like her former self. She knows how much Con looks up to her and is embarrassed and ashamed of the burden she has become. She will continue to stick by Anaconda though, and maybe she’ll find herself again as they search for a new home and a new clan.
Items: Nothing but grief and guilt.
