Okay, so 's contest at UnT requested a 'school' theme. And the current drawing theme in the Harvest Moon club here at dA is fall, even if it's not a contest. And so I came up with a comic idea for the contest that could also fit the current theme in the club

Here's the original comments I made on the contest thread:

They are wearing the school colors and emblems of The Ohio State University, where I go to school The Oval is a courtyard at school, and this really is a legend at our school ^^ If two people are walking alone on the oval when the school bell tolls, they're supposed to be destined to fall in love or share eternal love or etc. There are a lot of different versions of the story, but I made a kindof ideal one for this comic BTW even early in the morning, two people walking alone on the oval is very rare. It would have to be like 4 AM on a day there was no school for anyone or something XD And then what's the chance that TWO people would go by at that time??

Gray x Clair is one of my favorite Clair pairings I was really torn on who to choose... Pony or Clair? Gray or Rick? Stuff like that I was even considering a professor-looking Trent or Carter In the end I thought it would look the cutest with Gray and Clair.

The second panel is supposed to be a birds-eye view of the pathways with the tops of Gray and Clair's heads to show they're the only people around XD But like, I don't know really how to make it look like that, so that's the best I could come up with.

Also, poor design on my part: I should've made another panel where Clair hears the bell and turns around.

Also, you can imagine the narration is by either of the two When I was writing it, I wanted it to be so that either of them could be saying it. I guess in my head it's Clair saying it, but I think it seems cute if you think of Gray saying it too

ANYWAY, hope you like it XD I like how it came out in the end Even though it looks messy, I spent a lot of time on it, and it's organized mess. It's SUPPOSED to look that way

Also, I realized after I saved it that I spelled "beginning" wrong at the bottom (it was just a typo, I got it right at the top XD) but it's too late now, because I already compressed the layers and stuff, so I'd have to like... erase that part and type a new version on top, and it would stick out, or just redo the whole thing from the beginning, scanning and all, and I'm so not doing that XD So please excuse my typo.

(there were faces in there that didn't get displayed I think XD)

Anyway, now to submit to the HM clubs too
