It's pretty awesome for a first try! Changing the colour of the hair actually makes it more realistic. The eye kind of stands out of the background - or that is what it seems to me - you could have burnt or adjusted the colour of the edges a little to make it fit into the tiger skin more. I like the way the hairline and the animal skin is faded to! Over all, nice concept and nice work done here.
