I'm sitting hereIn this holy temple of lies
Closing my eyes
Tightening my fists
I'm drained; empty
No faith left in the non-existant
Why must you force me to stay?
I don't belong here
I wish I could punch everyone
Everyone that dares to think I believe
I don't deserve this punishment
Make it cease; please
This is my life, I can do what I want
I can believe what I want
No higher power exists; there is no proof
Now let me go my own way; and never set foot in church again.

I hate church too but mostly because a lot of people and the bible are hypocrites just saying. But my mom doesn't make me go anymore thats good. I really like your poem

That's lucky, I have to go every week and also get dragged to youth group. I can see, yeah, the bible has good values and everything, but I see no proof in it at all. Sure we should all be kind to one another and stuff like that, but there is plenty of stuff in the bible I disagree with, like all the homophobia for example...Well when I am older I can make my own choices
