When you really want to make a character that can fly, but also where plate, get halfway through an owl flavored aarakocra and they come out with straight up owlfolk. Sweet. Envisioned this as near the end of their adventure, all powered up and in full resplendent armor wielding some ancient glaive. Based off the northern white faced owl, the one that can look like a devil when it wants to.
