How to Create a Wyngro![COMPLETE!]
Welcome to the world of Wyngrew!
If you're interested in making one, they are indeed FREE, but you must follow the guide below!
Also, feel free to use my PDF. files of my bases used in this guide if you'd like!
PLEASE NOTE that you must create your own pose/art for your new Wyngro. (No tracing bases etc.) I want to see your own style for these guys!
(You can have a Wyngro filed in with my template in the guide, as long as you have your own art in it as well!
So first thing you need to do is pick out what kind of nose your Wyngro will have!
There's "Round Nose" and "Bump Nose".
Also decide whether your Wyngro will have claws or paws on their front feet or backs. They need a set of each!

Pupil color is whatever you want! (Iris remains white) There is usually a slight gradient to the pupil-- the top of the pupil is darker than the bottom. You can add shines how you want of course! If you have a simpler

I appreciate that! Right now I could use help moding, just approving Wyngrew and helping people if they need changes. Would definitely help me stay focused on just creating more content. (I know that stuff is boring though which is why I haven't asked anyone yet. XD) There's not that much that needs to be done yet but hopefully things will pick up!
Just like, eyedroppering base colors to make sure they're accurate, etc.etc.
And oh yeah! You can use the design however you'd like!

OK I've got the initial drawings of her up now. Named her Verbena, the purple eyes on the green body remind me of that plant. I see her being good with plant/life type magic later down the line. I also submitted my own design, Djehuti, more of the air and/or fire type. His color scheme might give away some of what I have planned for him and his name should give away some more.

Me too, I've already got some sketches. But before I proceed, could you let me know if Djehuti's secondary color is too dark? It looks dark red on my screen but I'd like a secondary opinion on if it's too far from the base. I'd like to keep it how it is but if that won't work I could always lighten it up a little, or a lot and then make it darker later with an upgrade (maybe a variant on color mixer?)

So I'm a little worried about the dark "mask" overlapping the lighter secondary color. I'm trying to avoid people using too many overlaps of all the useable colors if that makes sense. (Mostly because it can get out of control if you go too far)
A few Wyngrew have slight overlapping colors, but I need to make another guide and explain what the limits are.
The red is a bit darker than the base for sure, but if anything, I would almost rather see either the light or dark color removed from the face because of all the overlapping.
(Also, the grey accent color needs to stay on the tips of the fingers, so be careful of that in the future, as you have the color popping up above the fingers.)
The color mixer feature would be able to give you everything you have here, so if anything, you can change it once you hit that mark!
As for the approval-- Once you get the hang of everything you should be confident enough to approve them yourself.

Ah OK, well that's why I reused the line art, I want to make sure I get it right before I do an official pic. I could change the light spots to the top and bottom of the head, with an area of base color around the eyes and then the dark mask over that. Then later when I get color mixer on I'll change it to do the overlap. I'll also lighten up the dark color a bit and fix the toes (going to fix them on Verbena's ref as well when I make the official one). Thanks! Now I can get to work!

I could definitely help with approvals when I have time, and I have a good eye for color, shouldn't need to do much eyedropper checking. Plus Wyngrew aren't too complicated to start with. Shouldn't be hard to spot if something's off. I think I'm also pretty good at making suggestions to fix instead of just saying "No that's wrong, try again".
