My drawing is inspired by the Hatsune Miku song Deep sea Girl video:[link] also an contest entry for 's contest Draw to a song contestSo guess what people I just came up with a new contest Idea XD
I haven't really decided about the prizes, but this is just more of a fun lets draw! kinda thing.
So yes you may offer to donate prizes, no llamas please!

What kind of art is allowed?
Any kind really, just remember the more detailed the drawing, the more likely you are to win.
Same goes with color, unless your shading in black and white is amazing!

wow! there's so much in this! the colors, fish, and miku! i love the textures and over-all concept of this one. the water ripple effects are really neat looking.
one of my issues i saw upon viewing this is miku's poor hips. the way they're turning look uncomfortable and a bit detached from the rest of her.
since the ripples are reflecting yellow/orange colors, i think some of that same color can be used in the rays of light coming down from above to help tie it all together more.
over-all, i really enjoyed this, however ^^ best of luck on future works!

Really cool picture! ^^ It's really colorful and sets the viewer in a good mood, the textures (especially the dotted one) you used don't give much a 'waterly' effect, but they're cute and nice to see.
The way you colored is really good, I like the palette you've chosen and how you blend it.
Her dress looks great, it's detailed and I find it really pretty!
The anatomy has some flaws, but it's nothing too tragic: in my opinion, you should both widen the shoulders or tighten her neck (but it would look fine like it is with wider shoulders), her pose looks a bit stiff, especially on the bust (it seems like one of her breasts is larger than the other) and the legs, since they're drawn in profile while they should be seen almost in the front and the only foot we can see is definitely too small.
Her face is adorable, I love the eyes, but the forehead is too low, her fringe is melting with the eyes! And also, it seems that the hair starts at the same height of the eyebrows, it should be higher!
The hands look pretty and I simply love how you colored the hair!
You said you can't draw backgrounds... but I really like this one! It's very pretty! All the fishes in it are lovely.

Don't worry, your anatomy is already pretty decent, it shouldn't be hard to fix those mistakes at all!
