Note: Due to my lack of activity here since...forever ago, I'm not expecting any comments or anything. I'm putting this here so I can always have it in its original form since Photobucket compresses it at this size.

*Pant* *Huff* *Wheeze* x_x You have no idea how long it took me to actually get this done. My drawing's suffered so friggin' much lately, and it already takes long enough to get these regular human styles done. The other style I've experimented with, which is like "Lucky Star," is much easier and a lot more fun. Also, I'm super lazy for not giving different poses in each form, but it's also for my personal reference. Enough of that though, onto introductions.

This girl is Mariana Santos, my TFA OC (as if the title didn't give that away). She's a lot of fun, and I've actually been writing a few ficlets with her, even though only a small few might see the light of day on Quizilla (same name as on DA) or maybe here. Some basic info:

Race: Techno-Organic
Height: 5' 1"
Weight: 115 lbs.
Place of Birth: Detroit, MI, without getting into technicalities.
The Good: Funny (her words/jokes are seen as either a good or bad thing, depending), speaks her mind (again, good or bad, depending on her and those nearby), resolute, friendly, and optimistic.
The Bad: Often reckless with herself, sarcastic (mostly when in a bad mood), can be untintentionally pushy, and doesn't usually know when to give up, even if it isn't obvious.
Hobbies and Interests: Training to hone her abilities, music (singing and listening), playing video games (mostly rhythm or FPS games), soccer, reading, and doodling (not that good but at least you can usually recognize what she's going for).
Special Skills and Abilities: Her right arm is a laser gun, the strength of each shot depending on how long she charges it up. Her left arm is a shield which covers her upper body, able to come out or withdraw in a second so she doesn't have to always have it out when fighting. She also has a large energy mace she can conjure in her hands at will. Also, she's a pretty good singer, and is good enough at rhythm and FPS games to compete in local tournaments, although she's only ever won once.

Brief Bio: Lived a normal life on the outskirts of Detroit with her parents. When she was fourteen, while waiting for her meal at a Burger Bot, a leaking gas pipe caused a large explosion that trapped her and a handful of others in the debris. A man named Reed Wallace rescued them, but the building collapsed on him when he went to look for more survivors without knowing he'd already evacuated everyone. Mariana lost her left arm from the elbow down and had a mechanical prosthetic instead. She met Sari four years later while touring Sumdac Tower with her school. The young redhead amused her, and Sari liked the fact that someone besides her dad seemed genuinely interested in talking to her. They met the reawakened Autobots together and shared new adventures with them. After discovering Sari's true origins, a strange feeling overcame Mariana. She "spoke" with what they had gathered of the AllSpark and confronted her parents, who admitted they discovered a "large, silver being" in their home one night. Reina touched it and that was when Mariana appeared. Mariana too was a techno-organic, of a slightly different kind than Sari it seemed. Now she continues to work with the Autobots to protect Cybertron and Earth from the remaining Decepticons.

**Upon being "born," Mariana had the fabricated memory of being twelve, so she only thought she was aging when in fact her body never changed. After finding out about the whole techno-organic thing, she realized that rather than being twenty by that time, she was actually only eight. So she was "twelve" at birth, "fourteen" after supposedly losing her arm, "eighteen" upon discovering the Autobots, and "twenty" when everything was resolved.

I know I still owe a friend a pic I did a looong time ago, so I'll take a picture and submit it asap. The quality will be lower but at least I'll have put it up. The reason this looks the way it does is that I snapped a pic then cleaned it up in MS Paint. I really am trying to complete my Scatman Project too, just to prove to myself I can do it.

Mariana: Hey, I know your classes started and all, but you still have other pics from...*Checks their dates* Almost two years ago. Plans?

x____x It took me almost a year to get yours finished to this point. But there's a better chance of getting them done now that I have a camera. It's no scanner, but it obviously does the job I need.

Mariana: I'll tell the others they can expect their pics within the next ten years ;b
