February marks the beginning of my 4th year in the studio.
It's difficult to cram everything that happened the past year into a post, but the studio is evolving along with the artwork.
These are some recent pics from the studio, all within the last three months. You can see how the studio looks from my entry-way. Included here are a couple of paintings where I tried to get a little more loose with the details. My paintings, "Greenhouse Garden" and "A Winter's Night." I have always loved detailed realism and I fear that is now what is expected of me. So, to do these type of paintings, where there is far less tiny detail, is scary for me. This is outside of my comfort zone, if you can believe it.
