22"x28" acrylic painting on canvas, showing the view I have of my house from my favorite spot to sit outside.
This is the house I've lived in for the past 17 years, and where I now have my art studio. It's a cabin built in 1900 with two add-on wings (built in the 1970's). My husband does the creative landscaping, so I get to look at this amazing view when I'm outside.
The house has always been purple since we've lived in it. I love the purple, but my husband doesn't like the purple, and wants to paint it another color eventually. I decided to paint this piece of art to remind me of Summer during the Winter months.
