Description
Here shows the USS Enterprise NCC 1701-E arriving at the orbit of Remus and going to RomulusInspiration of work: Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Nemesis
If you want a Borg Planet, i created one too named Unimatrix 25 [link]
Goal: to create an almost realistic enough render of a Star Trek theme
Image Notes: You will notice some abandoned Di-lithium Mines of Remus (planetary details). You will see Romulan City Night Lights
and more realistic Planet Romulus-------------------------------
Romulus and Remus is a render (i created and rendered these planets myself)
Enterprise-E is a render
Romulan Nebula is a render
Romulan Stars is manually created by me

Update 9/26/2010 - it is recommended that you re-download the image again if you are using this as a wallpaper. this is a major update
1. Added some lights on the Enterprise-E's top hull (i saw the movies again and noticed this)
2. Added right Warp Nacelle glow which is absent before (rendering issue i photoshopped the glow to compensate)
3. Updated the Romulan Night Lights again
4. Dimmed the Enterprise-E a bit as per request by mdbruffy
comments on the revisions are greatly appreciated

*Sigh* Shame. In Nemesis, the Empire and the Federation had a chance for better relations and then Romulus gets blown up in the reboot movie.

Actually this is better. Some small amount of wash-out is expected from the sunloght, but your first image simply had too much. This one's better- and more realistic looking. Good job!

This looks pretty good. I have one recomendation- and it's just me- I'd turn the lighing down just alittle. Right now, some of your ship is washed out- and you should want to see the "E".

i have updated the image mate! i dimmed it as you requested but for some reason the warp nacelles are not dimming maybe due to the glow of the plasma(a mesh limitation i guess... i'm planning to photoshop the glow manually but i can't turn the plasma glow off)... however i added some revisions too. revert back to me if it's already ok
