Charr and Dusk keep evolving. I think their relationship works better if Dusk is human. Or at least human most of the time, anyway. I like the contrast between giant scaley dragon and pretty little girl.I've decided that I need to practice humans more because I suck at them. Therefore I shall roam the stock photo galleries. "Human most of the time" is the key. After all, we are dealing with kitsune here.
As for the picture, we've got ourselves a classic "beauty calms the beast" picture. Granted, it's slightly different emotions involved (more of a father-daughter thing than a romantic thing), but a nice sweet picture anyway.

This is just a random detail I'm not sure if you thought of(and trying to add it may prove to be quite a challenge...), but wouldn't the dragon's scales reflect at least some amount of blue light around him?
I mean, the scales are apparently reflective enough to mirror the ground slightly.
Just an idea. *shrug* And for all I know this idea is why you don't consider it complete.
