So who is break? Prior to the events of Seven, the Katsuhiro Corp was developing technology that would help generate warp technology, but what they discovered was the pocket space that allows them to generate the gravity surge. With this gravity surge, they can move an object with incredible speeds. At the same time, ORBIT (yes a throwback to Double-O's world) begins development of small AI's for their unmanned missions into space. With these two corporations, they successfully launch Gemini 1 (Yes Double-O reference).

Now Fast forward to about 8 months into the Rider Battle in Seven's world, or when all hell breaks loose with Yggdrasil and the riderbattle that leads to a massive global event, in different remote areas across the world all are attacked by what is to become the Roidmudes. No one pays any attention to them as being anything different because to them they look like the monsters that are attacking Kokage City.

After the events of Seven, Yggdrasil assets are all liquidated into other corporations. The Rider Battle continues under the government in Kokage, but are being helped by ORBIT to continue the development of drivers and synth lockseeds. Katshuhiro Corp begins development of an belt for human use of the Gravity Surge tech, but it is impossible for a normal human to use the device. It is then that they begin to discover more gravity surges are occurring across the world, this prompts the company to research as to what is causing the issue. This is when they discover the wreckage of Gemini 1, which has become 11 Roidmudes. They are attacked by the Roidmudes but are able to hurt them and capture one by over loading their prototype gravity surge device which accidentally causes a micro blackhole that did not stabilized.

Follow in the steps of Kikaider and Proto Drive, the Katsuhiro Corp uses the capture roidmude disassemble it and rebuild it under the guise of Mitsuhiro, an infant cyborg who slowly wants to become human.

Mitsuhiro/ Break:
Break, unlike the other Roidmudes, does not have the ability of the Gravity Surge as he was a failed roidmude prior to being captured. Though his is given a different power source that allows him to be unaffected by it. With the Trans Driver, he becomes Break and his smaller AI brothers, the shift cars, he is a force to recon with.

Difference from Drive:
-The tire that attaches to Drives chest has been removed to the back like Chaser.
-Belt-San is not a sentient AI like Mitsuhiro or the Shift Cars.
-No Shift Bracer. Breaks inserts the shift cars on the left hand side of the belt which can be push up and down like a blinker to switch different attacks.
-Tire Kokan doesnt have bizarre tire designs, what they can do, depending on the Shift car, will either dis engage a portion of Breaks Armor Paneling to do add some other item.
