The report said they didn't think he was the target?

The worst thing about guncrime is how it spills into innocent bystanders, I mean its sad when anyone gets shot, but when somebody had nothing to do with it it seems so much worse.

There was a shooting in Liverpool a while ago where a small child called Rhys Jones was killed by a bullet that richocheted off a car and hit him as he cycled home. The shooter was trying to kill another gang member in a carpark. I think they managed to catch the guy in the end, but the sick thing was that people didn't want to come forward and give evidence because they hated the police. In a child murder investigation...

Anyway thats my daily "The world has gone to crap" rant lol

First thanks to name me in the suggestion ( artist comment !!!)

Then you are going to say I'm never pleased, and in a way you are right !!!

But : another picture , another cropping, so here I 'll suggest this, my view here is more vertical, crop on the left to the beginning of the white pattern (before the cross), to the right at the second vertical line in the brick wall.

Now this is just a suggestion...

Side note: great picture - evokes strong emotions: the stark contrast of thoughts: the soldier running for cover by the cross... from one perspective or violence at the hands of religion.

This is one that could be used to evoke much.

great picture !!!!

here I see the point to get it in B&W, as it report of a tragic moment.

But I would suggest you to crop the cars, I think they are disturbing here, and it would leave the picture with just an armed policeman in front of a church, but most of all, the idea of a gun against a cross !!!!
