I originally uploaded this image on New Years Eve (or thereabouts) in 2009 under a different account, which I later deactivated. In the artist comments, I created the image for and dedicated it to my grandfather and made some silly remarks about going nuts and naming the tiger something stupid like Ankfred.

This year, on November 11th, my grandfather passed away from pancreatic cancer. He was 83. He was (and still is) the person I love and respect the most. I miss him everyday.

The tiger was pieced together from stock by ~MoonsongStock and *Chunga-Stock . The background was referenced from some of my own photos of the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee. The starry texture in the water is from *Moonchilde-Stock .
