Description I saw a lifesaver, thrown onto the frozen lake for some reason beyond my knowledge. The water had frozen and formed those little icy spikes around the lifesaver.

Cross-processed in photoshop to get that look you can get with cp'd film

I guess not much help if someone goes through the ice somewhere else than in the middle of it... A nice shot though even if I don't have a clue about what cross-processing in Photoshop is.

Indeed...

And thank you Okay cross-processing with film involves chemicals and such, but in photoshop its a bit cleanier. Create a curves adjustment layer and go play around with each of the RGB channels. Rise the black points position and try the same thing with the white end. Then create curves of your liking.

Thanks for the description, think I get the idea even if I don't use Photoshop. Think the same would be possible in The Gimp.
